Fairfield Inn & Suites Louisville Downtown

Manager of their front desk is stuck-up as hell. Very impolite and unprofessional. Couldn’t figure out why they charged me 400 bucks, kept telling me it’s “the system”, how stupid, how can someone be like this be the manager of the hotel?!

Good location in downtown and breakfast.

Sunny at the front desk was efficient, helpful and very friendly. Room was as expected with everything working and in order. Breakfast was very good. The breakfast room attendants were on top of everything. Parking was $19 per night; fairly reasonable. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Then hotel was very nice staff was very nice.Liked that its had a walk in shower Bed was comfortable was just a overnight we were heading to Cincinnati for a ballgame Parking was a little crazy.Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was nice. We didn't have time to use the pool or gym area

Went to Louisville with family for nearly a week and stayed here for our last night Sun into Monday as it was way cheaper that night than our previous hotel and was just one block away. Great location downtown within walking distance to 4th street and whiskey row. The covered parking had plenty of spots and is the cheapest in the city. Rooms and facilities are clean and standard for a Fairfield. It is connected to the Spring Hill Suites which is a much nicer hotel. On check-in the front desk lady had no personality and no expressions and seemed to just be going through the motions. She did acknowledge Titanium Elite status but didn't offer any welcome bonus or upgrades and just handed me the room cards and said breakfast is in the lobby. We got an upgrade to a "corner room" which isn't in the corner but is in a hallway with slightly larger rooms. There were suites available but we didn't get upgraded to that. When I mentioned later that I wasn't offered a welcome gift they told me points were already added for me. I asked for late check out at 4 pm and was told I could have it, to just stop at the front desk at some point. The next morning I went to the front desk to get the cards updated for late checkout and again was a lackluster, no personality lady who didn't listen to what I said and just swiped my card. When I asked if that was updated for late checkout she said the only time you are allowed to ask for late checkout is right when you check in. I told her that I asked shortly after check-in and was told to stop by at some point so she begrudgingly offered me noon checkout. I went back upstairs around 10 AM and the housekeeper came in to ask if we were leaving even though normal checkout is 11 AM. Following the stay a generic email is sent asking for feedback and when I gave this feedback they countered by defending themselves and said that I was offered a welcome gift and I chose points and they would give me a 5000 point credit for the late checkout issue. I responded saying I was never offered a welcome gift and that I asked for it later since it was never offered and they ignored me. I also never got the 5000 point credit. Bottom line: clean hotel in great location and is cheapest in the Marriott portfolio. Terrible staff and management but still worth it for the price as long as it doesn't bother you.

The room was very clean. The staff was exceptional. Breakfast was wonderful. Only 2 minor things. The mattress cover seemed to be the wrong size, and the USB port did not work. But overall I was super pleased. The check-in clerk was amazing. She remembered the reason for our stay.
